Course Overview

The Level 2 Extended Technical Diploma Occupational Entry for the Early Years Practitioner is a vocational qualification aimed at individuals seeking to work in early years settings, providing knowledge and skills for working with children from birth to 5 years, and some knowledge up to 7 years.
This qualification will enable you to achieve Early Years Educator status at level 2. Upon completing the course, you will be eligible for employment in an Early Years setting at level 2.

Course Requirements

Grade 3 or above in English & mathematics. 4 other GCSE’s at grade 3 or above.

What you will Learn

You will cover essential topics such as safeguarding, child development, equality and diversity, and the importance of play. Additionally, you will participate in industry placements each week, providing you with valuable insights into the real working world and practical experience in Early Years settings.
