Autumn term
Tuesday 1st September 2026 – Friday 18 December 2026
Spring term
Monday 4 January 2027 – Thursday 25 March 2027
Summer term
Monday 12 April 2027 – Friday 25 June 2027
Student holiday periods
Students are not expected to attend college during the following periods:
- Monday 26 October – Friday 30 October 2026 (Autumn half term)
- Monday 21 December 2026 – Fri 1 January 2027 (Christmas holiday)
- Monday 15 February – Friday 19 February 2027 (Spring half term)
- Friday 26 March – Friday 9 April 2027 (Easter holiday)
- Monday 31 May – Friday 4 June 2027 (Summer half term)
College closures and non-teaching days
The dates below show when the college is closed or when students are not required to attend.
College closed (no access to campus)
Public holidays (college closed)
The college will be closed on recognised UK public holidays during term time, including:
- Monday 3 May 2027 – Early May Bank Holiday
- Monday 31 May 2027 – Spring Bank Holiday
Non-teaching days (students do not attend)
On these dates, teaching does not take place and most students will not be required to attend.
Teaching & Learning Development Days (staff training)
- Wednesday 14 October 2026 – Stockport
- Thursday 15 October 2026 – Trafford
Stop the Train Days
Weds 2 December 2026 + Tues 16 March 2027.

- No standard teaching timetable
Wellbeing Day
Mon 2 November 2026
- Dedicated to student and staff wellbeing
- Normal timetables may not run
