Course Overview

This introductory course is perfectly suited for individuals who are new to floristry, as well as those who possess a basic understanding of the craft and wish to further develop their skills. Throughout the course, each session will offer participants a hands-on opportunity to learn and practice fundamental floristry techniques. You will gain the confidence and ability to create a diverse selection of floral designs, utilising a variety of flowers and containers. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in floristry, enabling you to create beautiful arrangements for personal enjoyment or as a stepping stone to more advanced floral design work.

Course Requirements

No prior knowledge is required. You just need to be interested in wanting to learn more about this wonderful subject.

What you will Learn

Each week, your tutor will guide you through the design process step by step, ensuring you have a clear understanding of each stage. This hands-on approach allows you to create your own arrangement during the session, which you can then take home to enjoy. Additionally, you will receive detailed instructions on what materials and tools to bring to each session, ensuring you are fully prepared to participate and make the most of the learning experience.

There will be no formal assessment.
