Course Overview

Barbering is a traditional skill and profession that has been a significant part of British culture for centuries. It involves the art of cutting, styling, and grooming men’s hair. Barbers are highly skilled in using various tools such as scissors, clippers, and razors to create different hairstyles and beard designs.
In addition to hair cutting and styling, barbers also offer other services such as shaving, beard trimming, and hair treatments. They often provide advice on hair care and grooming products to help their clients maintain their desired look between appointments.

Course Requirements

No previous experience necessary, but an interest in barbering is essential. English at Entry 3.

Assessment

Although there is no formal assessment, course research is conducted in preparation for the next steps. Students will have the opportunity to gain skills in our commercial salons

Feedback will be provided by our qualified curriculum staff.
