Course Overview

A Tour of Asia” is an engaging and comprehensive course that offers students an introduction to the vast and varied culinary traditions of Asia. The course highlights the health benefits, cultural importance, and social elements of Asian gastronomy.”

Course Requirements

You will need to be over 19 years of age to attend this course.

What you will Learn

Through hands-on cooking sessions, students will learn to prepare a variety of traditional Asian dishes, while exploring the principles of the Asian diet and developing sound knowledge of spice combinations and flavour profiles.

Assessment

There is no formal assessment on this course. You will receive feedback, support, and guidance from your tutor. Your learning will be supported through practical activities, discussions, paired/individual and group tasks and worksheets.

Progression

Learners successfully completing this short course to a good standard may apply for a place on our other introductory courses.
