Course Overview

This internationally recognised and vocationally relevant HR qualification makes students extremely employable. This course is designed for those students wishing to improve their knowledge and skills in HR at Advisor/Business Partner level, as well as developing their critical writing and problem solving skills.

Students will need to purchase the course textbook (approximate cost œ60). Students must become members of the CIPD and will be expected to complete additional study outside the timetable of a minimum of 8 hours per week.

Course Requirements

It is expected that students will have achieved their level 3 Certificate in HR Practice and will be in a leading role in the HR Function. Candidates without a level 3 Certificate may be accepted if they hold sufficient experience and a Business/HR level 3 qualification or degree related qualification. You must be aged 19+. You are expected to have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at a grade C or above.

Assessment

Assessment will be through a range of methods including written reports; written research proposal; written answers to questions; individual answers to questions; and a CPD plan.

Progression

Students may be able to progress onto the Intermediate Level 7 Programme; and this can be undertaken at University.
