Art & Design
For us, art and creativity are more than an avenue to potential employment. It is a way of thinking and approaching life. That said, graduates of Trafford College enjoy success working as independent practitioners or in agencies and companies all over the world and of this we are rightly proud.
But it’s important to continue and add to this success and that’s where you come in. Our College and its courses are still shaped by the dedication and resourcefulness of its staff and students, alongside the belief that through the effectiveness of this partnership meaningful and transformational teaching and learning can take place.
As a strategic partner with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), our courses are of the highest standard to meet rigorous requirements. Our graduates obtain employer focused qualifications from a world-class university when studying through Trafford College

Emma James
Art & Design Teacher
Since graduating at Trafford, I have been lucky enough to continue my education with a PGCE, training to be an art and design secondary school teacher in Swansea. The everyday studio environment at Trafford, as well as group tasks and presentations, helped me gain experience and confidence in teaching, along with the occasional visit and links to primary and secondary schools.
