Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or an aspiring professional, an SLR (Single Lens Reflex) photography course can provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to capture stunning images and express your creativity through photography.

This course is designed to advance your photography skills through the use of Digital SLR cameras. Topics covered include advanced techniques in lighting and composition, which can be applied to specialised areas such as Landscape and People photography. We will help you to develop a strong foundation in photography techniques, allowing you to capture better photos and gain confidence in using your DSLR camera effectively.

Please be informed that ownership of a personal DSLR camera is a prerequisite for enrolment in this course.

Course Requirements

No formal qualifications are needed but some knowledge of the functions of a DSLR or having undertaken our Basic SLR Photography course will be useful.

What you will Learn

The primary objective of this course is to enhance learners’ confidence in using their equipment and to expand their understanding of the creative possibilities it offers.

Assessment

There is no formal assessment. Students will receive helpful feedback throughout the course.

Progression

Upon successfuly completion of the course students can apply for the accredited Photography courses.
