Course Requirements

Aged 19 or over
At least 2 years’ experience in a management role
Completion of a short initial assessment
Interview with a course tutor before enrolment
GCSE grade 4-9 or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English

Module 2. Principles of developing, managing and leading individuals and teams to achieve success
Great managers don’t just supervise teams – they inspire them to excel.
This unit unlocks one of the most powerful leadership capabilities: the ability to bring out the best in individuals and teams. Designed for managers who want to elevate their impact, it explores the essential skills needed to lead confidently in today’s dynamic workplaces, whether teams are remote, in person, or multi disciplinary.

Progression

Students are able to progress to further learning within the suite of Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership – i.e. completing a Diploma. Learner may also consider Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring Practice
Students may also wish to further their ongoing personal and professional development by accessing other CMI qualifications, such as the CMI Level 7 Qualifications in Management and Leadership with the goal of becoming a Chartered Manager.
