Awarding Bodies

‘Awarding Bodies’ describe the role of an organisation that designs, develops, delivers and awards the recognition of learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and/or competences) of an individual following an assessment and quality assurance process that is valued by employers, learners or stakeholders.

They are experts in developing the high-quality qualifications that meet the needs of our employers and most importantly, our learners. We work with National Awarding Bodies to provide high quality teaching and learning. Trafford College works with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) as an awarding body and Pearson as an awarding organisation. The majority of our degree courses are validated by Sheffield Hallam University.
